Iva Kutilkova (b. 1987) is a figurative artist from Czechia who currently lives and works in Sintra, Portugal.

Drawing has always been Iva’s passion; it has become an integral part of her life, a meditation, and a spiritual journey. Iva highly values draftsmanship and deep emotional connection through art.

For Iva, the process of creating is a place of contemplation and an examination of the true nature of human beings.

In her works, she searches for a resolution to her inner experiences and hopes to tap into the universal human consciousness.

Iva’s artistic process explores natural textures layered with graphite, charcoal, and mixed media; she blends the abstract with crafted form to portray works that are intimate and harmonious, capturing intangible moments passing through time.
